‘Beauty in Small Things: Traditional drawing and painting techniques’
with fine artist Sarah Chance

You’ll be guided by Sarah Chance who studied at the Julian Ashton Art School. She was awarded the John Olsen scholarship as well as other drawing prizes while she completed her Diploma in Fine Arts.
Sarah has since built her own successful portraiture practice so you can feel confident you’re learning from
You’ll feel confident and at ease with Sarah who is well known as an inspiring and experienced teacher.
On the day we will start by exploring the traditional ‘trois crayons’ drawing technique, capturing the turning points of light, to create volume and form. We will then apply that learning in a small still life painting to take home.
Lunch and morning tea included.
On October 24th, we will present ‘Skies and Clouds’ – a special workshop en-plein-air.
