Artisanal food and drinks workshops:

Lemoncello and festive summer flavours workshop
Ashton Park, Moss Vale

Summer is here! ….and thoughts turn to a new season, wellness, and fresh flavours for sunny afternoons.

So now is the perfect time to try some new skills and flavours!

Join us to revive the artisanal techniques of Lemoncello, Ratafia and Chinotto.

Enjoy the hands-on experience of fermenting and infusing that you can share with friends and family.

Then we will indulge in Italian flavours for summer! Because it’s hard to go past the deeply infused flavours of icy lemoncello.

And, depending on the temperament of our kitchen garden (and drought!), we may have a chance to start a batch of elderflower champagne, and Ratafia.

We will complete a batch started earlier, but starting a batch will depend on how the walnuts are faring in this weather.

Saturday, 7 December

10am – 3pm: Light lunch and tastings included.

$95 / person including GST

$170 / couple including GST

Citrus and Lemoncello workshop – Ourimbah/Central Coast

Have you tried your hand at putting the Lemoncello flavours into a bottle?

Then you’ll know it takes a bit of time and, above all, experience.

So, we’ve created this workshop to teach you the process –  but most importantly – give you a shortcut to success.

Our artisan teacher

My friend Gillian Kozicki and I have been exploring the possibilities of the more unusual citrus. And we’re looking forward to sharing the aromas, infusions, and unique flavours of:

  • bergamot
  • chinotto
  • etrog
  • yuzu lime
  • native finger limes and
  • cumquat

Join us at Gillian’s beautiful Ourimbah orchard on the Central Coast where you’ll be able to try your hand using citrus straight from her trees.

During this workshop we will show you how to make

  • Delicious Italian-style lemoncello
  • Tangy, spicy Chinotto
  • And other recipes featuring rarer varieties like bergamot
